We quite recognise the liberty of our Assistant Masters (under
isting agreements) to leave us at 6 months' notice, provided that bhey refund a portion of the passage money expended on their behalf) but I trust that in future they may not be induced to leave a School which cannot afford to be repeatedly engaging new Masters; and I think that, having regard to all the circumstances, it is not in the interest of educational progress in the Colony, that they should do €
0.
I beg to enclose a copy of our last annual Report. I am, Sir,
Your most obedient and humble servant,
R&Jobbold
Chairman of the Committee of the
Diocesan School and Orphanage, Hong Kong
